Try the Facebook market place for GTO or SMA, there was equipal for sale there just recently.

Saw them being made last year at a shop across the street from Tacos Fish de la Paz in Guadalajara which if you are in the mood ever for travel, it's a fun excursion and you'll cut out the middle man. Don't miss the giant downtown market and some Birria at Nuevo Esquinas.
