Monday Night Football @ Mega - DML - 10-24-2010

Just wanted to pass this on.....on Monday nights at the Mega movie theaters they are broadcasting Monday Night Football at 7:30pm. I think the price is the same as a movie.

My husband was very excited and went last week. (He was the only one in the theater!)

Go Team! Which team is your team?

I'm not surprised he was the only one. Did he get to hear it en ingles? At least he'd get a big ol' pop corn and coke. My husband is incommunicado all day and evening on Sunday and then also Monday nite. At least the Packers beat Brett last nite in Green Bay. He is the evil MN quarterback who retired from Green Bay, and then NY and then MN but went back. NFL Sunday ticket is very cheap here. The first year it cost only $20US, now maybe $80. It would be fun to see it in the theater. Thanks for that info.

that is at the Mega in Guanajuato (my husband didn't make it this week...we went to a Cervantino even at San Fernando Plaza).

We previously lived in Nashville so my husband is rooting for the Titans.

Alone in the Mega cine and Monday Night Football on the big screen sounds interesting!

I have it on ShawDirect a Canadian satellite broadcaster that can be received here - set-up was a little frustrating with a do-it-myself installation.

Monday Night Football* is on TSN Canada which is on the basic Bronze package along with NBC/CBS/ABC/FOX/PBS and all the news and events you could ever want out of Moose Jaw and Thunder Bay. The Daily Show and Colbert are on a Halifax station and TVO is an additional PBS style station out of Toronto. There is also a fair sampling of free movies in the basic package.

* on the next channel was a NHL game

Unless you are really handy and enjoy traversing rooftops I would not recommend the DIY installation. There is a man in Quereterro that can help: Sonke Stuck.

We have SKY and my husband watches Monday Night Football on ESPN2 which is part of the basic pkg. You get English language but have the scores and castigos on the screen en espanol and you get to watch Happy Raul (as my husband calls Raul Alegre) and see where his hair is going on that night. You gotta watch it to understand that.
