What are these for? They're all over Gto. - junruh - 02-17-2018 I see these everywhere in photos of Gto. The thing I'm looking at is in the lower left corner of the photo. If they're in good shape, they have a water faucet at the top. ![]() I also added an attachment of a photo that's better. Thanks... RE: What are these for? These water fountains were where the citizens could draw water. RE: What are these for? Most interesting to me is the photo mural that depicts the water carriers -- men with large clay ollas (about the size of today's butane tanks) that the men carried from the plaza fountains into the neighborhoods.
