... for having The. Worst. WiFi. Connection. in the western hemisphere.
Over 7 years of traveling, in both North and South America, in 5 different countries, and in more cafes, coffeehouse, restaurants, and airports than I can count, Cafe Tal--without a doubt--has the worst WiFi I've ever seen. Man.
Cafe Tal never seems to have a problem taking my money!!!!! But expect a decent WiFi connect and you're SOL, as my father would say.
What's the great complication!?!?! If you need 2 more routers, buy 'em. Geez. This is not going to break the bank. Take care of your customers. Face the fact that WiFi is now ubiquitous. Pony up a few dollars and make thousandsof customers happy as clams.
At Barra33, Cafe de la Paz, Sette, Santo, and so on--all here in Guanajuato--I walk in, take the laptop out, turn it on and ... GUESS WHAT?!?! WiFi. Quick, easy, clean, reliable. 'Open website after website after website after website after website. 'Download updates to your heart's content. 'Not a problem. But not Cafe Tal.
Unbelievable.

The WiFi at Cafe Tal's Paseo de la Presa location works fine.

I thank Cafetal for bringing good coffee to gto.
I came here before there was even dial-up. WiFi is just so nouveau to me.

I have found Tal's WiFi to be spotty, but love the coffee. Sometimes it is just fine, but other times non existent. Santo's WiFi is not secure so I do worry about that. But their pasta with chicken in cream sauce negates that.
