Barking Dogs - KenMacD - 01-18-2017
Has anyone had success using an electronic device to stop a neighbor's dog from barking? I have one dog living very close that barks and howls a lot! I have searched Amazon and few other sites and there are many such devices, but most are also rated poorly. If you have had a good experience with one of these devices, I would sure like to know about it.

We used a bark collar that sprays citronella when the dog barks. Very effective, more humane, and it works on its own...... Many electric collars require remote control and we did not have the stomach to hit that button knowing it would scare our dog. Our dog has learned to not bark as much when someone walks by. It takes work and very positive reinforcement. We rarely even use it now. Bought it on Amazon.
