Weather/Clothing Question - Blanche - 12-03-2016 I am visiting Guanajuato in January. I know the weather stats - the average temperature is around 22°C (72°F) during the day and around 7°C (45°F) or even less during the night - but I still am not sure what I need to bring in terms of clothing. Will it be warm enough to wear shorts/skirts/dresses during the day? What about in the evening? Should I bring a down sweater/jacket? Hat, gloves? I have to pack light, so I want to be sure I have what I need and nothing I don't. Thanks for all your assistance. RE: Weather/Clothing Question - pianoheat - 12-03-2016 Blanche last year we actually had snow flakes one day it is hard to know what this year will bring but we have already had some coolish days, and if the wind blows it will be cold even if it is sunny. A sweater and a shell to block the wind should be good and some long pants ll bean sells a wind resistant fleece that might save you some space. If your out early or late you probably want a warm hat and some light gloves there will surely be some days all be it few that will use them. RE: Weather/Clothing Question - peddler665 - 12-03-2016 Having spent 3 out of the last 4 January's in GTO. This past year was the coldest & wettest in my experience. Slept in insulated underwear with a heating pad. Not coming to February this year. |
