a: you probably will not encounter such an abogado here in GTO.
b: in my experience going back 12-13 yrs using 'professionals' in DF it was 50% of a high fee up front and 50% on delivery of document. The process went on and on. My new wife's birthday was coming up. A flight to Bangkok was about what the lawyer balance would be. So I flew back and married her again - this time in a city hall vs a 12 monk Buddhist ceremony. All went well. I flew back and my wife flew in a few weeks later. Two months after her arrival the phone rang. It was the lawyer in DF with 'good news' - documents were ready! I mentioned that we had a business problem as she was already here. They walked. All ended well. My advice --- if there is another solution is available pursue it.
