Does Delta allow you to fly on one-way ticket? - Sue100 - 11-02-2016

Posting this on the off chance that someone has experience with this. My daughter (Canadian) is scheduled to fly from Canada to BJX on November 21 on Delta. She has a one-way ticket because she plans to travel and does not know where she will depart from to return to Canada. Apparently Mexico COULD deny entry to someone who cannot prove they have a ticket out of the country:

Has anyone on the forum ever travelled to Mexico on a one-way ticket on a U.S. airline, and if so, what was your experience?

I flew in with a oneway ticket in July with no problem. They never asked about a return flight.

True.
My wife was initially denied boarding by Delta last month in Atlanta as we were returning to our home here. Their computer refused to issue her boarding pass as it could not identify her holding a return ticket back to usa. Of course not, as we were returning not starting our joyrney, so A few minutes of explanation to the counter agent and he was able to manually issue her boarding ticket. He blamed the hassle on TSA regs and 9/11.
BS I say.
