can someone recommend yoga classes for beginners,preferably in the evenings, thanks

I take Ashtanga yoga at Bharati in Plaza Baratillo. It is a wonderful form of yoga, but you might find that it's a bit too intense for a beginner.
You might want to try Hatha Yoga, for a gentler introduction into the practice of yoga.
Fortunately, they are starting Hatha Yoga classes this week at Bharati every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evening, beginning at 7 pm.
There are also Hatha Yoga classes on the same days in the mornings, starting at 8 am.
I'm sure there are other places in town to practice as well. I think a search through this forum will turn up a few additional suggestions.
