Artists of age 6 thru 12 - Doyle Phillips - 03-11-2015
Whether Mexican or foreigner kids who live in Guanajuato may submit their artwork.
(Spanish below.)

GUIDELINES FOR CHILDREN’S ART BOOK
Seven Categories: 6 years old thru 12 years old ( 6 yrs, 7 yrs. 8 yrs., 9 yrs., 10yrs., 11 yrs., 12yrs.)
Theme: Reading, The Importance of Books, Education in the School or Home
Media and substrates
Any media: pencil, ink, paint, crayola, chalk etc.
Substrates no larger than 8.5 x 11 (carta):
papers, cardboard, canvas, particle board (horizontal or vertical)
3 Dimensional objects: Please submit the object if possible and I will photograph it or a good quality picture of the object may be accepted.
Deadline: End of March but submissions may begin now. Bring artwork to The
English Language Library at the Escuela Normal to meet me by appointment.

Identification: Please ask the artist to sign the work on the front. On the back of the work, please print the name of the artist, age, school or organization and contact.
Artwork will be returned—except those chosen for the book.
At this time I think there will be about 10 images per age category.

CONCURSO DE DIBUJO INFANTIL
Bases:
Siete Categorías: 6 años, 7 años, 8 años, 9 años, 10 años, 11 años, de 12 años
Tema: “La importancia de los libros y la lectura, en la escuela o en el hogar”
Técnica: Cualquier tipo de técnica (lápiz, tinta, pintura, crayola, gis, acuarelas, etc.)
medidas máximas de 8.5 x 11 (carta): papel, cartón, lona, o madera. (Horizontal o vertical)
*Puedes realizar tu obra en 3 dimensiones (maquetas): Favor de enviar una fotografía. Si no puedes tomarla avísanos y nosotros la tomamos.
Datos que debe llevar tu obra: firma tu obra en la parte inferior derecha; en la parte posterior de la obra, escribe el nombre del artista, edad, escuela u organización y contacto.
Fecha límite: A partir de la publicación de esta convocatoria hasta el 31 de marzo.
Nota: Después de esta fecha no se recibirán más trabajos.
Lugar de recepción: Biblioteca de Inglés en la Escuela Normal de Guanajuato.
