Doyle, I tried to email you but for some reason couldn't so will say to you and anyone else wanting to play a small part in maintaining freedom of the press (including caricature and satire) International PEN may be the organization for you. It is ~ to Amnesty International but more focused.
On February 22 there will be a special PEN event in Mexico City called La Pregunta questioning the rash of deaths of journalists in Mexico. Annual membership in PEN, open to all, $400. More details by emailing rcashdan@yahoo.com
