Car Insurance - Lisa Andrews - 01-03-2015
I´m thinking of buying a car here and was wondering if anyone had experience with insurance companies. It will be mexican plated and I am not a USA citizen so I need to get local insurance but don't really know too much about it just that I need it.
Any experiences would be great to hear (good/bad).

I've used an on-line broker for the past several years. They represent several insurers. Most recently I used them on Dec 31 when I was wondering when my policy expired. Turned out it was June 2013! I had a new quote which was only slightly more than my expired policy. Best part was I had a valid letter of cover within an hour. 3 days later the policy and payment instructions were e-mailed.

You would of course need to provide details of the car being insured to get a quote. For ref. I have a 2003 minivan and for Partial theft , civil liability and a few other items the annual policy was under 2100 MN.
