NEW LOCATION TO BUY GOOD BREAD - cam00 - 11-28-2014
A new place to get really good-fresh-baked-bread, other baked goods, fresh-brewed coffee, and teas, even sesame bagels soon......is in the middle callejon in the PLAZA BARATILLO that has the street vendors on it selling food-stuffs, etc. On the right-hand side as you go up a short way on the callejon is SAN GUCHERIA, and the brother and sister owners speak English and Español. They can make breads or other baked goods to your order, and have at least four different breads always on hand. A delightful, friendly and very artsy looking place that I think is a great addition to Guanajuato.

We are buying our bread for the restaurant from them now and I agree, tasty bread and great people!
NEW BAKERY and a THEFT - cam00 - 12-14-2014
Almost 3 weeks ago, on a TUESDAY in the early AM, CIEL had a young male who delivered the purified water to the bakery. He was NOT employed directly by COCA COLA, but sent by the regular worker for CIEL water to deliver the bottles. He stole the mobile phone while delivering, which was discovered later. Typically, the police have done nothing at all, and no one wants to accept responsibility for the theft. I am contacting COCA COLA international directly to solve the problem.

Regarding COCA COLAs' response to the theft of an expensive mobile phone, by a worker delivering CIEL containers of water to the owners of the bakery in Plaza Barratillo: SAN GUCHARIA, they, COCA COLA of MEXICO, have NOT resolved the issue, and have not provided recompense to the owners.
If anyones cares to, they may contact COCA COLA INTERNATIONAL at the following site:

and, complain about COCA COLA MEXICOs' lack of responsibilty, and hopefully get them to respond correctly to this problem. Clara and Luis, the Bakery owners, would appreciate any help to get their phone back, or at least get re-imbursed from COCA COLA.
