I usually do this in MEX airport but this time I fly out of BJX, so where can I change some pesos to $? I want to have a cushion when I arrive in US. I do have a Cibanco acct. Is changing money at BJX also possible?

There is a BanBajio branch there so you should be able to - if they are open [check here] BUT why wait until the last minute? Just do it somewhere in GTO a few days in advance.

Yep, I agree about being prepared. Went to Cibanco this morning. Not a great rate and slow but convenient. By the way anyone changing money should bring passport.
