Looking to ride horseback and/or go birdong,hiking. - TBurr - 11-02-2013
Looking for any suggestions on riding and birding , hiking at Christmas time. Last year, my daughter, Rene, went birding on horseback with a gentleman whose name she has forgotten but would love to go riding with him again. Anyone know who it might be?? She,and her husband and twelve year old son are coming for two weeks over holidays and would love to ride or hike around here. Thanks

I can't help with the horseback riding question but I have a suggestion about birding.
By the time your family arrives, there will be decent birding at Presa La Purisima. All of the winter water birds will be arriving and the passerines are pretty good along the shore. The dirt road along the north side of the presa is a good start.
