Hello all,
Daniel is a guitarist who has given concerts here in Guanajuato, Ceci is a singer. They both are music therapists in Quer?taro. They have a chance to travel to Venice to represent Mexico in the 55th Biennial Festival of Art (http://www.labiennale.org/en/biennale/organization/organization.html?back=true)
They are raising funds for their travel expenses, and this Friday night will be giving a concert at Casa Cuatro at 7:00 pm. Cost is $60 mxn general and $40 mxn students, Inapam, etc.
This is how they describe their music...
El ensamble nace por la inquietud de Daniel Torres en conjugar el canto arm?nico (Overtone Singing) con gamas t?mbricas que proporcionan los instrumentos que conforman a dicha agrupaci?n, entremezclando ra?ces musicales del jazz, m?sica cl?sica de la india, m?sica tuvan y exploraci?n sonora.
Los m?sicos que forman parte de ?Nosotros? provienen de distintos proyectos musicales como el Jazz, folklore Latinoamericano, Rock, M?sica oriental y M?sica cl?sica, brindando cada uno su esencia particular que le da el car?cter al proyecto, yendo de un mantra hind? a evocaciones progresivas del jazz, de un leit motive latinoamericano a chords melody.
