Would you be interested in forming and participating in a networking organization to keep tabs on single adults with medical problems?
I know several people who have illnesses of various kinds who might find it helpful. If a member is hospitalized then other members would be available for visits and or phone calls and bringing necessities to the hospital.
Probably a program like this is already in existence? It would be a kind of bed check perhaps... when you are ready to turn the lights out at night a central "registry" would be notified and same when you wake up. All by email or text message.
What do you think?

This is a vital service you are suggesting. I vote "Yes!"
Years ago Martha Roberts and Joan Romero Hicks agreed to keep and extensive file of information on each of us. It took me hours to gather all the information and I knew what I was looking for!), but is would be priceless to any caregiver.
I suggest that form be recirculated, filled out, and then this option be expanded into a network like you have suggested. Count me in as there is safety in numbers!

I think it 's a great idea! I am often here alone in GTO on short visits. Lots of time, no one even knows I am here. It would be nice to know that there would be someone to check on me here, as they do when I am in Ajijic or Vallarta. Sign me up please. Thanks.
