Glass sources? - jesm - 06-11-2012 In need of some different glasses for windows in new house. Hope to locate beveled, colors and insulating double paned. All suggestions appreciated. RE: Glass sources? - The Duck - 06-11-2012 For the past several years I have used Francisco at Vidrios y Acabados [name may be a bit different - next time I go by I'll pick up his card]. Service and quality of work is excellent. Glass is basically a commodity so prices should be the same in the various shops. For specialty glass it will most likely not be stocked so expect a day or two for its delivery to GTO. On beveled glass expect over double the price tag on the sq footage as the glass has to be extra think in order to bevel it. Francisco is located in Tepetapa. Head past the Commercial toward the Train Station and the Mummies. At the train station there is now a small glorieta: Take a RIGHT on CARRIZO Just after the divided part of the street ends he is in the 1st building on the LEFT (after the mechanic shop).
