If you have not found them yet there are 3 young women offering fresh alternatives in simple, reasonably priced dining fare around town. In order of length of time they have been in business they are:
HABIBIS
A small cafe with seating or take-away opposite Teatro Cervantes/Bar Fly. Lebanese style falafel rolls, lentil soup, middle Eastern platters and more. Very resonably priced, reliable, and open every day approx 12-12. Say hi to Julia.
SUSHI BALLS
A small cafe with seating or take-away in Plaza Los Angeles. A wide range of tasty and healthy ingredients inside large sushi balls, plus new breakfast menu. Open approx 10- midnight. Say hi to Cristina.
CRUSTACEO CASCARURO
A small cafe with seating or take-away in Cantarranas (on the little plazuela where the Creperie used to be.) Yummy 'gourmet' hamburgers
in a very pleasant setting. Open 3-12. Say hi to Ilisa.
