Recommendations for Spanish schools? - Mickey - 11-27-2011 Hi group: Thanks to everyone for the responses on the different areas of recommendations that I've asked about. This question regards Spanish schools - I'm looking for both positive and negative recommendations from people who have attended a Spanish school in Guanajuato. Thanks. RE: Recommendations for Spanish schools? - Mike - 12-01-2011 I've been to several schools here in GTO and recommend La Adelita in Plaza Embajadoras. It was started by several teachers who formerly taught at Escuela M?xicana. In my experience they offer the most flexibility, personalized instruction, activities, and by far the best prices in town. http://www.la-adelita.org/ RE: Recommendations for Spanish schools? - EscuelaFalcon! - 04-26-2012 Hi everyone! RE: Recommendations for Spanish schools? - ldrews - 04-26-2012 I second the recommendation for Adelita. I am in the middle of their 3 month intensive program and it is working for me. RE: Recommendations for Spanish schools? - emmagirl2007 - 05-09-2012 I went to Escuela Mexicana for a month. I liked it a lot. Prices were very reasonable (120 USD/week for 4 hrs. a day). Claudia, Gaby (that has been there a while, not the new one) and Juan Carlos are the best teachers. RE: Recommendations for Spanish schools? - colleen - 05-09-2012 In the past I really liked Espanol Universal. I took private classes from Alejandro, the son of the owner. He now teaches near the post office at the end of Pocitos (tho the name of the street changes at that area). Look for Casa Solaris and you will find Alejandro. Or come into my bookstore, Donkey Jote, Pocitos #30 across from Diego museum and I have the info there. RE: Recommendations for Spanish schools? - mcontreras - 05-30-2012 I also attended La Adelita. Though I highly recommend it, you should be aware that after you reach a certain level in your Spanish learning, you could be better off some place else. |
