Many Telcel users have involuntarily "subscribed" to receive frequent SMS messages from unotv.com, which seem to arrive at all times of the day or night, often with an unwanted alert. To "unsubscribe" is a simple process.
Send a text message to number 2222 with the word: BAJA and you will get a confirmation of no more messages.

Thanks for the tip!! Those messages are really annoying, never knew how I got on some list since no one has my number, figure it must be automatic.

Good tip, Brooke. In a similar vein, do you know of any way to block the almost equally annoying promotional messages from Telcel?

When you receive an unsolicited, annoying SMS message on Telcel, do a Google search:
"Como bloquear ___ "

e.g. Como bloquear UNOTV.com
