Anti-Trumpolini poster for your convenienc
This image is designed to fit 8.5 x 11.
However it is at 300dpi res so could
print well at about 24" x 32" wide.

Copy and paste it (and pass it on).

SOMETHING TO CONSIDER BEFORE EXPATS INVOLVE THEMSELVES IN ANY POLITICAL PROTESTS WHILE IN MEXICO:

Should expats in Mexico get involved in political and civil matters?

Our message of AMISTAD SI, MURO NO was well received yesterday. No problems, nobody was deported. There are a lot of photos and links to newspaper articles and other videos on my facebook page. I'll try to share one here. If it doesn't work, send me a friend request on facebook.

Barbara, you and your group hit a home run on this. Here's why:

I wasn't there because I was out of town. When I returned Wednesday morning, I had to go to the vet on the Jardin del Cantador to retrieve my cat that was kenneled there. (My numerous attempts to find a cat sitter here have achieved very little success.) When I got there, I had to wait a few minutes because there was a young couple who were buying some dog paraphernalia. While I was waiting, along came a woman selling newspapers. He and the woman at the vet desk were friends, and the newspaper woman showed her the front page of AM Express, and drew her attention to this article: http://www.am.com.mx/2017/02/15/guanajua...ico-345141
They proceeded to chat about the subject matter, and I added an "Excellente! Mis Amigos!" to the conversation.
The point here is, not only did you make the front page, but people in this community are talking about it.

Thanks for sharing that story, robertb7! It was fun, and really, how can you go wrong on Valentine's Day here!
Many of us are frustrated and feel the need to get together and express ourselves in a positive way. In the U.S. I know people are organizing in groups called "indivisible," while others are following the 10 Actions in 100 Days as a follow up to the Women's March on Washington. There's a postcard writing event to be postmarked on March 15th, The Ides of March, and rumors of a worldwide Fire the Fool march on April 1st.
Those dates don't mean anything here, so we're trying to think of something else we can do next month. Maybe we could think of something to connect the first day of Spring and Benito Juarez's birthday (March 20th and 21st).
Let's share ideas here and see what we can come up with.

I'm already planning on going to the March for Science on April 22, wherever the closest one is.
