WIFI at the Leon/Bajio Airport?

My daughter is arriving after 9 pm at that airport. Does it have wifi so she can text me when she arrives?

Yes there is wifi. I believe it is called ...GAP_FREE. Generally you just have to agree to their terms then you have access to the internet at no cost.

However, there are parts of the airport where it doesn't work and sometimes it seems the whole thing is down. It might be best for you to watch for her plane to land and leave at that point, as immigration and customs can take some time.

And sometimes Google no es tu amigo. The link says the service is not free, and it most definitely is.

Like All friends google can give incorrect or off target info but it is always a good place to start.

Pretty much everything on that page is wrong. Personally, I have found google to be pretty useless when it comes to getting accurate information about this area, but members of this board often have really good information.

Unfortunately, it's not really a very friendly place, but perhaps we could change that?

I have never gotten free wifi at bjx and tried mant times

Look for this address in available networks:

...GAP_FREE

Then try to open any page. It will open a login page in which you have to agree to the terms.

After that, it's all free wifi.

I got free wifi last time I was in BJX, but never had on any previous (numerous) visits so i'm not sure if it's a regular thing now. I only got it downstairs near the security entrance.
