Latest Home Rebuilding Project Photos
You continue to bring hope into the lives of a Central Mexico family who lost their home on February 18th - 3 months and 2 weeks ago. They have now been living with us for over 3 months. The whole family is now anticipating a new home. A home that YOU made possible. Here are yesterday's views of that home.
The original house area will be the kitchen and living area. The four girls will have a bedroom, right now being used as a lunch area for the two shifts of two workers each. The bathroom is holding the scaffolding right now, but the girls giggle at the idea of having their own bathroom. Concrete homes are slower to build as drying time is necessary, but they are very stable. The original home is being raised about 20" to make sure the door and windows will fit. The brick post was the skinny post left after the fire. That post divides the livingroom from the kitchen. Dad Memo was just thrilled to see such a fancy addition to his old home. We welcome any more financial help as it will be 9,000 pesos ($623.25USD) next week to pour the solid concrete roof. Thank you for anything you can do to help with this project.
