Mexican vs US health care costs - louisarogers - 04-08-2018

Anyone have any estimates about health care costs in GTO/Mexico vs the U.S., for an article I'm writing? I have had a few health visits in GTO, but not that many because I still use Medicare in the U.S. Any information on what you pay would be helpful. Reply here or to louisarogers51@gmail.com. Thanks.

I have no data to share with you as I've been living here now only 4 months, but I would LOVE to receive a copy of your article when published.
Can I email you my email to get on the distribution list?
Many thanks.

IMSS annual premium for age 60-69: 6,000 pesos.
To my amazement, it went down this year, after several annual increases. It was 7,300 last year.

IMSS is great but I have had too much cancer and they don't understand about pre-existing conditions. I have had Seguro Popular, free, for years. I have never used it but my husband got all kinds of services. They have expanded very much. Years ago it was only for accidents, emergencies. But every year it is expanding. I can even get a free hip now. I really ought to go there and get in line. They even have appointments now. How amazing. Many good changes and it's free. Check the website and see what is included. They have always included breast cancer treatment and mastectomy at no charge. I haven't a clue about charges in the US but I'm pretty sure there is no comparison. I'd like to read what you publish.
